Starting April 6, Horizon Air is changing its two daily round-trip flights to Los Angeles from Eureka/Arcata and Redding, Calif., and in the process is increasing the airplane seats available between Los Angeles and the Northern California cities by 50 percent, a Horizon news release stated.

The new schedule will have two nonstop round-trip flights between Eureka/Arcata and Los Angeles, removing one stop in both directions.

Redding will have, as it has now, a nonstop round-trip flight to Los Angeles and a one-stop, same-plane round-trip flight to Los Angeles that stops in Eureka/Arcata each way. It will gain its own 50 percent increase in seats because its nonstop flight will now originate in Redding, rather than in Eureka/Arcata.

The new flight schedule will be as follows:

Flight Number 2305 will depart Eureka/Arcata at 6:30 a.m. and arrive in Los Angeles at 8:35 a.m.

Flight Number 2310 will depart Eureka/Arcata at 6:25 p.m. and arrive in Los Angeles at 8:30 p.m.

Flight Number 2307 will depart Los Angeles at 9:05 a.m. and arrive in Eureka/Arcata at 11:10 a.m.

Flight Number 2304 will depart Los Angeles at 7:40 p.m. and arrive in Eureka/Arcata at 9:45 p.m.

Flight Number 2319 will depart Redding at 7 a.m. and arrive in Los Angeles at 8:50 a.m.

Flight Number 2310* will depart Redding at 5:15 p.m. and arrive in Los Angeles at 8:30 p.m.

Flight Number 2307* will depart Los Angeles at 9:05 a.m. and arrive in Redding at 12:20 p.m.

Flight Number 2318 will depart Los Angeles at 9:05 p.m. and arrive in Redding at 10:59 p.m.

* Flight has a stop in Eureka/Arcata.

Horizon also serves Eureka/Arcata and Redding with one daily flight to Portland, Ore. All flights are operated with the airline’s 76-seat Q400 turboprop aircraft.
