The Humboldt Harmonaires Barbershop Chorus is offering a $1,000 scholarship to a local high school senior who intends to study music in college. The award will be made at the Harmonaires’ spring show on April 19.

The Humboldt Harmonaires Barbershop Chorus awards the scholarship annually, and has awarded more than $15,000 to young musicians in Humboldt County.

Scholarship applications are available from all local high school counselors, music departments or from Harvey Raider, scholarship chairperson, at 707-677-9160. All applications must be received no later than Tuesday. Late entries will not be considered.
