The Eureka Police Department arrested three people on warrant charges and cited 18 people Wednesday for camping after receiving complaints from residents who used trails in a “sensitive wildlife” area of the city.
EPD officers conducted a walk-through of its green belt areas after receiving “numerous” complaints from residents who used the trails through the sensitive wildlife area of city property. Residents’ complaints included aggressive loose dogs, aggressive behavior by illegal campers, an abundance of garbage and human waste on the trails and hypodermic needles on the trails.
These areas are undeveloped and designated for public hiking and wildlife/wetlands use, the EPD said, and the use of these areas is limited to those activities.
Aside from those arrested and cited, several people were given warnings and advised to vacate the property, the EPD said.
Ummmm....
Where exactly was this??? Or was it a secret? Or is it another case of the ER trying to protect someone? Sorry, just like the Baywood scandal, your lies will be found out anyway, so what gives? Why lie about something that's public record? Eh??????
