Lincoln Elementary School in Eureka took the opportunity on Wednesday to honor and appreciate their administrative professional, also known as the School Secretary Mrs. Lende.

Lorie Lende received dozens of cards, flowers and chocolates from Lincoln students and staff. Every morning her smile in the window is the first greeting to students as they walk up the front steps. She is the one students go to when they need a Band-Aid, pencils, help zipping their jacket or simply a warm smile.

Lincoln is grateful for all she does to support the students and staff and thanks her.
