Dorothy Spain Born Oct. 31, 1920 to May 6, 2008. Passed away at the age of 87. Born in Los Angeles, Calif., she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Gene Spain.

Most of their life was spent in Crescent City, while the remaining 9 1/2 years were spent in Eureka. Dorothy went to be with her savior surrounded by her son Gene Spain and Phyllis Spain of Brooking, Ore. Her Daughter/care-giver Kathy Spain is of Eureka.

Her grandson David Forsyth (Foley) of Eureka. Dorothy was a loving grandmother to four grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

The family would like to give a special thanks for the loving support of Jayn’e McCain, Bill Foley and Marlene Krei, and an extra thank-you to the 3rd floor staff of St. Joseph Hospital, for all the caring of Dorothy and support of her Family, in their time of need.

A memorial is planned at a later date by her family.
