Third District Supervisorial candidate Mark Lovelace announced Wednesday that he has received the endorsement of Fourth District County Supervisor Bonnie Neely.

Neely said that she is supporting Lovelace because she knows he has the expertise and commitment to do the job, a news release stated.

“Mark is a true community leader with a wealth of experience,” Neely said in the release.

“He provides valuable input at our meetings, and I’m always impressed with his detailed knowledge and understanding of complex county issues. He takes a constructive approach and knows how to work towards solutions. Those qualities will make him a great addition to the Board.”

Lovelace thanked Neely for her support and praised her for her work on the Board of Supervisors.

“Bonnie has been a champion for our community on issue of smart growth, job creation, and environmental protection,” Lovelace said in the release. “I’m honored to have her on-board as a supporter, and I look forward to working with her.”

Lovelace has also received the support of current Third District Supervisor John Woolley and former Third District Supervisors Julie Fulkerson and Wesley Chesbro.
