As a born-and-bred Humboldt County resident, I believe it is important that Humboldt should prosper while maintaining the natural beauty and civic life that make it great to live and work here. Mark Lovelace stands above the other candidates for Third District Humboldt County Supervisor as an effective, hard-working leader who marries the interests in environmental stewardship and economic development.

I’m looking forward to seeing Mark Lovelace’s integrity, intelligence, and dedication put to work in the office of supervisor. I trust Mark for the job of developing reliable high-speed Internet infrastructure, which is crucial for Humboldt County’s economic development.

A Humboldt Bay Trail is a public health and safety imperative, and an economic development opportunity. Mark Lovelace has a clear and practical position on the trail, and I know he is a leader who will make it happen.

Humboldt County is at a critical juncture with our General Plan. For years, Mark has been speaking out for efficient land use, intelligent planning, and beautiful, livable communities. There is no one better person than Mark Lovelace to occupy the Third District County Supervisor seat through this General Plan process.

Please join me in voting Mark Lovelace this June!

A born and bred Humboldt County resident might miss something, you think?

What or where else has he done or been and how would his experience apply to the position he is chasing?
