Dear Editor,

Roger Rodoni was my friend and mentor, as he was for so many others. Tragically, we lost Roger, but we did not lose his vision. Roger’s wife Johanna shares Roger’s values and convictions. She understands the role that Roger played in his efforts to maintain common sense in our government.

Thank you, Johanna Rodoni, for your strength and willingness to continue Roger’s efforts. Thank you, Governor Schwarzenegger, for having the wisdom and foresight to appoint Johanna to complete Roger’s term.

Now, we must do our part. Please vote for Roger Rodoni, 2nd District Supervisor. Yes, we know he is gone, but Roger can still win this election with 50 percent plus one vote. If Roger Rodoni wins, the governor will appoint his replacement through 2010, and it will likely be Johanna.

Our best choice on June 3 is to vote for Roger Rodoni, Second District Supervisor. Choosing to write-in a candidate is a wasted vote. Please vote for Roger.
