Topic: Obituary

June Marie Palmrose-Heath was born May 25, 1927, in Eureka to Einar and Nela Palmrose. June grew up in Eureka graduating from Eureka High School in 1945. June was a free spirit having lived in many places and living life to its fullest.

She was truly a fascinating woman. She was an exceptional writer and storyteller. While at Silvercrest she made many friends and will not be forgotten.

Animals were one of June’s passions, especially cats. Her cats always came first, to the extent that they went with her wherever she went. Riding her motorcycle throughout the United States, she was accompanied by her two cats seated behind her.

Second, June was an avid fly fisherwoman, fishing in streams, whenever and wherever, with plenty of fishing tales to match!

June had the following children: Wayne Albin Palmrose (Linda) of Bayside, Louise Grace Dunn (Lee) of Medford, Ore., Gary Lee Coe ( Nancy) of Folson, Stephen John Macy (deceased), Darrell Everett Bailey (Kandi) of Cutten, Durtis Lee Pearl, George Todd Pearl (deceased) and Theresa Nieman (Bob) of Klamath Falls, Ore.

She was preceded in death by her parents Einar Albin Palmrose and Nela Grace Palmrose, husbands William Edward Harper, Darrell Everett Baily and George Edwin Pearl and her cat, Ignatz.

Services will be held on July 8, 2008, at 1 p.m., at Ocean View Cemetery Chapel. All are welcome to attend.

Memorial contributions can be made to Sequoia Humane Society, Miranda’s Rescue, or other animal rescue organizations of your choice.
