Fortuna’s Redwood Village Shopping Center hosts its kids’ rodeo night starting at 6 p.m. Tuesday July 15.

Two rodeo week children’s activities, the Fortuna Volunteer Fire Department’s kid’s muster and the western costume contest, are part of the fun aimed at the under 14 crowd at the shopping complex.

Firemen and volunteers will lead kids in scaled-down versions of some of the Fireman’s Muster games like the bucket brigade and fire-hose target shooting on the south side of the parking lot.

Western outfitted children ages 12 and under compete in the Center’s costume contest starting at 7 p.m. in the parking lot in front of HealthSPORT. Winners in three categories and three age groups will be awarded and all participants will walk away with something. Registration starts at 6:30 p.m.
