The Humboldt County Library, KEET TV’s Ready to Learn Project and First 5 Humboldt have teamed up to present a series of programs called “Kindergarten, Here I Come!” Each presentation will include video, stories, activities and crafts designed to reassure children starting kindergarten and their parents.
The American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network's Fight Back Express will stop in Eureka on Wednesday, August 27 at St. Joseph's Hospital from 7-8 p.m. The bus is on a six-month, 25,000 mile tour across the country to raise awareness about cancer, prevention, and early detection.
