Another day, another school record for Humboldt State senior Lizzy Prescott. With her two wins at the West Region championships on Saturday, Prescott further cemented her remarkable stamp on the HSU record books, setting a new mark for most innings pitched in a single season (362), one more than Jessame Kendall’s tally in 2001.

With two more victories on Saturday, the Humboldt State women find themselves right back in line to claim their first region championship in seven years, and will face off against Western Oregon this morning at 11 to decide who travels to the Lone Star State to compete in the NCAA national championships.
