Three Arcata juveniles arrested after damaging school

Responding to an alarm, Arcata Police Department officers were dispatched at 2:15 a.m. Saturday to the Sunny Brae Middle School and found extensive damage and suspects still inside.

Rodoni write-in celebration scheduled

State medicinal marijuana guidelines clarify laws

Medical marijuana loophole could let patients extend doctor recommendation

Carving it up

The fifth annual Surf4Peace took place in Trinidad on Saturday. The event featured a day of surf competition, food, music and other activities. Surf4Peace is a local nonprofit event whose proceeds are donated to one local and one international nonprofit organization geared toward peaceful and/or environmental action.
