Sept. 26 The Eureka Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting event on Friday, Sept. 26 at 8:30 a.m. at North Valley Bank, the Eureka Mall Branch, 838 West Harris Street. Sept. 22 The second annual Green Business Luncheon Series will begin Monday, Sept. 22. The series is offered by Humboldt Plan It Green and the North Coast Small Business Development Center, and will be held every third Monday in varying restaurant locations in Eureka and Arcata. The first luncheon will be held at the Oberon Grill at 516 Second St., Eureka from noon to 2 p.m. The cost is $20 per person, subsidized with the help of Pacific Gas and Electric.
