Twenty-three Sun Valley workers arrested in ICE operation

U.S. Immigration Customs and Enforcement special agents took a total of 23 workers into custody on administrative immigration violations Wednesday when it executed federal search warrants at Sun Valley Floral Farms and at the residences of several of the company’s employees, according to a news release from ICE.

Mobile home with pot grow flames up

Traffic collision

The Eureka Police Department and Eureka Fire Department responded to a report of traffic collision outside Stanton's Restaurant and Bar in Eureka on Monday afternoon. According to the EPD, the driver of the brown Ford F-100, left, was traveling north on Fifth Street when, for unknown reasons, his vehicle veered to the left and collided with a Chevrolet Silverado 1500 pickup truck parked in front of the restaurant. Disabled truck and trailer cause SR-36 closure

Coroner identifies slain bicyclist
